"Generation Z as a Steward of the Environment." A Third-generation Mechanical Engineer, a grandson of a poet and singer, and above all, a humble, hard-working coffee farmer Don Luis Marín is returning to his coffee-growing roots. This young engineer continues his grandfather Don Luis Marín's legacy of being a good steward of the environment by using innovation in building a sustainable, eco-friendly, coffee-growing environment. Employing local talent to hand pick ripe coffee beans, selecting and roasting small quantities on wood-burning stoves with the same care that his parents and their parents before them used to bring you this Premium Colombian coffee with its superb tastes "Sabor Colombiana." Small family coffee plantation cared for by family members for many generations to bring you this coffee with Sabor Colombiana while being a Steward of the environment for generations to come. A coffee grown in the high Andes Mountains ranges at altitudes over a mile with imagistic views.

SCG Zona Cafetera, a division of SCG LLC, focused on global marketing of products and services, starting with coffee and other products from the Area Andina of Columbia. The Andean region is the most popular mountainous natural part of central Colombia. Our Premium Arabica Coffee is toasted on a wood fire in the mile-high mountains (1700 Meters above sea level) in the Columbian Zona Cafetera and picked by hand, roasted in small quantities from small coffee plantations, and packed in small amounts.
SCG Zona Cafetera is dedicated to promoting social, environmental, equality, and labor conditions. Profits for Charity: 50% of our coffee profits will support our nonprofit charitable organization Mary K. Yap Foundation. The foundation is focused on feeding and educating orphaned children worldwide, starting with the orphan and disadvantaged youth in Burma and Columbia.
